DO VALLE DE GUIMAR

As in the valley of the Orotava, it is not a question of a valley in the geographical sense of the term. It corresponds to a tectonic pit originated by the landslide towards the sea of a great mass of area. The zone placed in the southern slope of the island of Tenerife, in the Archipelago of Canaries, forms a rectangle of approximately 18 km from length for 8 km from width.
