Wine Museum of Alcubilla de Avellaneda

La Esencia del Vino visited last July 15, 2012, the Wine Museum Alcubilla de Avellaneda (Soria) inaugurated on May 15, 2009, and was Vicente Romero, alcubillense 90 years old, and very knowledgeable of the subject, who became our friendly guide that we were so passionate detailing the history of this small museum, resulting in a very pleasant and instructive visit.

The old winery, built in the nineteenth century, was used to transform grapes into wine and orujada and was in use until the late seventies and was rehabilitated in 2009 became a museum of wine culture in the area and other ethnographic elements of life and work in the countryside: collection of farm implements. In its restoration has retained all the elements of the building, both exterior and interior.

The beam, the pylon and the spindle, divide and serve to support exhibits, creating evocative corners. This is a complete collection of containers used for farming and winemaking, maintain, transport and measure both the wine and crop products.
