In the 20s, Melquiades Entrena Álvarez founds the first Winery in Navarrete, Wineries ENTRENA.

In the 40s, After his sudden death, his son Melquiades Entrena Martínez takes charge of Wineries ENTRENA, transforming it into Joint-stock company. It initiates a period of expansion creating branches so much in origin (Quintanar de la Orden), since in destination of commercialization (Torrelavega and Santelices).

In 1962 activities of export are realized together with two big producers of the zone: family Azplicueta and family García Lafuente.

In the 70s, there are acquired Wineries Berberana and there joins in labors of coordination and direction his son (Melquiades Entrena Grijalba). . Exposition of the own bottling and the creation of the brand Familiar Melquior Colección MMI with his current philosophy based on the exceptional crop of 2001 on the DOC Rioja, in general and especially in the exceptional wines of our vineyards of 22/24 years.

In 2004, our growth in Madrid accelerates the opening of the Commercial Delegation Vineyard Almudena Madrid.

At present I carry out the implantation of the model and philosophy of direct commercialization in Madrid and Barcelona, and in his surroundings.

In 1990/1994, there are begun to elaborate wines of high quality in the innovative facilities and his later upbringing by the acquisition of casks of American and French oak (up to the 6.000 current ones). Coinciding the decade with them add Exceptional of 1994 and 1995, and the Very good one of 1996.

In 2001 prodcue the incorporation to the Winery of 4 ª generation (Almudena and Luis' Melquiades Entrena)
