The Winery is located in the small people zamorano of Villanueva de Campeán, head-board of the historical region of Tierra del Vino, a neighboring area of the D.O. Toro, which there shares with this one the type of soils and a similar climate, of continental court, influenced by the nearness of the river Douro. Viñas del Cénit Franc distributes his wine-growing heritage in small payments with notable presence of Tempranillo's old vine-stocks, some of centenary them, planted on foot on calcareous areas, of gravels and sands, which cover a deep band of red clay.
The Salamancan Almudena Alberca is a young woman enóloga linked to Viñas del Cénit from the birth of the Winery, in 2003. It is busy with supervising the vineyard and also with directing the different processes of vinificación.
