Founded in 1870

Departing from a familiar origin in Medina and Rueda that dates back of 1870, VINOS SANZ, S.A. was constituted as joint-stock company in 1981. In 1984, the Club of Wines Vinoselección, he acquires the majority of the actions, giving a strong impulse to the company.

After extending the Winery and to provide it with the last technological advances as for production, different estates are bought within La Seca, concentrating most of hectares in the Estate called " La Colina " where there stand firm the principal varieties taken refuge in the D.O. Rueda as they are: Verdejo, Viura and Sauvignon Blanc.

In the present year, the company has acquired two new estates of 10 hectares for the plantation of the stained variety Tempranillo. Nowadays, this Winery is one of the maximum exponents of the zone, for his seriousness and his excellent relation quality - price.

Under the brands Sanz, Montesol, Finca la Colina, Valcruzal and Campo Sanz, Vinos Sanz, S.A. commercializes his wines on the domestic market across his provincial exclusive distributors, principally in the big surfaces. In the international area, they export nowadays, to 16 Europa's countries, America and Japan to exclusive importers and to some important chains.
