Founded in 2000

Vallformosa is a Winery of property 100 % relative managed by the fifth generation of the Family Domènech, whose origin places in 1865 in Vilobí del Penedés.

Constructed between the year 2000 and 2004 it belongs to a family viticultora with a long tradition. In the year 2005 they acquired these Wineries that possess a few modern facilities and own vineyard those who elaborate a few exquisite wines.

Nowadays, it possesses several own Wineries of wines and wine-cellars under four Spanish D.O. (Penedès, Cava, Cataluña and Rioja), beside possessing wines of Argentina.

The strategy of international implantation of the company comes supported both by his numbers of export and by his great international recognition. More than 60 % of the production is exported to more than 40 countries in the whole world (Europe, America and Asia).

One of the new projects is the Vallformosa Winery Convention Center, a space that tries to satisfy the needs of companies and groups that want to celebrate his meetings, days of work, events or conventions in Vallformosa's facilities, discovering simultaneously the culture of the wine.

Vallformosa is a socially responsible company that fights actively to increase the investigation against the cancer across an agreement of collaboration with the Fundació Institut Català d'Oncologia.
