Exavisaba, S.A.T. 6154 - Bodegas Salcedo Balmaseda
Founded in 1975
In the year 1918, D. Tomás Salcedo García founds a winery in order to elaborate his own crop. This winery would be ruled hereinafter by the brothers Salcedo Balmaseda, in his third generation, to end turning in the year 1.986 into Agrarian Company of Transformation.
At present, he has control of temperature in the fermentation of all his production, which he guards in wineries of stainless steel of double shirt and of concrete, of a capacity of storage of 2 million liters.
The whole wine that is elaborated in this winery comes from 170 hectares of own vineyards, which belong to the varieties Tempranillo (Cencibel), Robe and Airén.
His plant bottling works, near 2.000 bottles / hour, are automated. Also it tells with a ship of upbringing with casks of oak, that nowadays he is in process of expansion.
