Founded in 1985

The Wineries and vineyards of this company were started constructing in 1985, distributed in three splendid estates, which were inaugurated two years later. In 1991 the first one was thrown to the market add, under the brand SANTA CATARINA, destined, basically, to the export. Today, the signature has been consolidated inside the Majorcan market, commercializing practically all his wines in this local area.

At present, SANTA CATARINA, S.A. possesses 80 hectares of vineyards for production and a few modern facilities, the most advanced technology of the sector; both in Wineries and in field. Thanks to this bet for the advance and the innovation, it is necessary to emphasize that the same year, the house entered 350.000 kilos of grape, of his own vineyards, from that 250.000 liters were extracted for production.

Conscious of the importance of Majorca as tourist zone, SANTA CATARINA, S.A. has chosen to increase market and sales, inviting the people to visit one of his splendid estates. With the same intention of increasing the daily visits and the number of sales, in these moments the signature is reforming his other two Majorcan estates.

Likewise, with the aim to initiate the opening towards the domestic market, SANTA CATARINA, S.A. is taking advantage of the inciativa stimulated from the BALEARIC GOVERNMENT together with the INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT, in order that the small Majorcan Wineries could open him, together, way out of the Balearic market.
