Michael Álvarez constructed this Winery in 1939, though there exists information of which already in the 15th century the family Álvarez was elaborating wines. In the trascurso of the years the Winery has suffered modifications and extensions, with the incorporation also of the new technologies of vinificación.
Propiedad Grial is born in the year 1982, with small unsteady steps as those of the children, and starts raising his wines with the crop of 1988. It is at the time when the whole family takes conscience of the ideal one: to obtain a good and recognized quality, departing from his own crops and elaborating carefully his wines, and with effort they are reaching gradually the goals that they have proposed.
