Pedro Domecq, S.A.
Founded by the Irish Patrick Murphy in 1730, Pedro Domecq's Wineries in Jerez, were the origin of the group Domecq. They began in a former building that sheltered a mill of the 16th century. The Domecq were original of the French region of the Bearn. Pedro Domecq Lembeye, founder of this legendary saga, changed the name of the company to that of " Pedro Domecq and Company ", in the year 1822.

The Wineries also have his own names as; El Molino, La Mezquita, El Castillo, Rincón Malillo, El Picadero, La Tribuna, La Luz, La Nueva,... More than 100.000 boots of American oak rest in these historical Wineries.
