Founded in 1987
From beginning of the 20th century, the family Pagès has devoted itself to the production of wines of high quality. After a few years of Joan Pagès Gabarra was elaborating calm wines, in the year 1950, it initiated the production and sale of frothy wines in the region of the Vallés Oriental, near Barcelona.
When it appeared the recognition of the word Digs as name of origin and it was recognized as qualit product produced in a certain region, Joan Pagès Padró acquired a former mill paper of the 18th century, which was assembling the favorable conditions for the production of Cava.
It is in the year 1987 when Pagès Entrena, S.A. is born as company. I negotiate one relative where the third generation, Joan Pagès Entrena, joins the project initiated by his grandfather to obtain a company dedicated to the production of Wine-cellars of high quality with a few very definite aims: to offer to his clients a product of maximum quality with an unsurpassable service.
Since then, Pagès Entrena's Cavas have gathered praises and distinctions so much national as international, granted for the most relevant institutions of the world of the enology.
