Lagar de Besada possesses 3 Hectares of vineyards placed in the subfield of the Salnés and in the best areas. We meet slightly deep soils, lightly acid and of sandy type on that we have planted noble selected vine-stocks, some of them proceeding from clowns resistant to the phylloxera, submitted to low performances with the very small and free clusters of grape. Also we have worried for selecting the vineyards of the vine-growers of the zone and reaching an agreement of commitment to do a supervision throughout the year (winter treatments, pruning...) to obtain the maximum quality in the grape.
The climate of the zone is of type The Atlantic Ocean, with soft temperatures moderated by the influence of the sea, high relative dampness and average rainfalls I half-close to them 1.600mm. All this helps to give him to our wines an excellent quality.
