In 2007, Ramon Segalés Roqueta, a young member of a family with a long tradition in the world of wine, decide to give birth to a personal project, Lafou Celler in Terra Alta, one of the most authentic wine regions, the longest tradition and with great potential and recorrido.Los Lafou vineyards are at an altitude of 350-500 meters, in a small, rustic finca 60 acres north of the town of Bats in Terra Alta. The winery, meanwhile, is in the center of Bats. Access to modern facilities is through a beautiful eighteenth century manor house situated in the main square of the town. With Lafou Celler chase to find the essence of Terra Alta through the cultivation of different varieties of vine-area of the Garnacha, both ink and white, are the best examples-and the wine that best expresses depth, the identity and the expressiveness of the territory.
