Founded in 1977

The Xarmada is a family enterprise that, with a great wine tradition, one dedicates to the production of wines, wine-cellars, liquors and brandy from own crop.

In spite of that his current trade name dates back of 1977, there are already different the generations of the family Sangenís-Llivi that they dedicate to this labor. In fact, the origin of the activity of the signature dates back to the production of liquors for own consumption, for what the palate and the taste have been, from always, one of the features definitorios to The Xarmada.

Nowadays, the company presents on the market a great range of products that Conca de Barberà saw increased in 1994 with the incorporation in his catalogue of the wines of the Name of Origin. Today, the signature has wines (white, pink and stained) elaborated with varieties like Syrah and Cabernet, wine-cellars brut and nature and a liquor of wine of 22 ¼, "Strongly", that constitutes one of the props of this veteran winery.

Between the plans of future of the company he is to penetrate into the field of the wines, the division more new of The Xarmada. Nevertheless, to support the traditions implies leaving of side the investigation and the search of new markets.
