Founded in 1994
The winery Iturrialde is the logical evolution of the former S.A.T. Aretxondo, founded in 1994. The bet of the winery for the local varieties Ondarrabi Zuri and Ondarrabi Zuri Zerratie is total, supposing these varieties practically 100 % of our 31 hectares of own vineyard, distributed in 29 vineyards spread by 9 different municipalities from quite Biscay, being cultivated all inside the parameters of the integrated viticulture.
The winery possesses a capacity of production of 550.000 liters distributed in 54 wineries of stainless maple tree, all of them provided with automatic systems of control of temperature and of inertización for nitrogen, we elaborate separately the product of every vineyard, fulfilling later the opportune coupages.
Finished the fermentations we realize to our txakolis an upbringing on you tie of 3 months before clarifying them of natural form and to bottle them from February. The traceability is guaranteed by the ISO 9001:2008 that we have implanted from years behind.
