Gramona
Founded in 1881
The families Gramona and Batlle are vine-growers from happened of the 19th century. Already in 1881 the Batlle they constructed the Celler Batlle in the center of Sant Sadurní's urban area that it has remained working up to the crop of 2001. Pilar Batlle and Bartolomé Gramona married in 1913 and with them it began the production of the champaign, commercializing his first bottles in 1921.
At present the company continues in hands of the family, inheritors of the experience accumulated of so many years and the sum of the new and innovative knowledge enológicos. They possess own vineyards and a modern "Celler Batlle" of futurist, low cut one of his vineyards, literally buried under the mountain, with the technical equipments advanced mas of the moment where they continue elaborating a few deifying wines and possibly one of the best wine-cellars of Spain.
