Our Winery was born and began his elaborations in the year 1870, in the municipal area of The Drought, with a history parallel to that of the D.O. Rueda. At the end of 19th century his wines already were known in the whole Castile, being the 20th century the stage of expansion, so much nationally, since international.
In 1976, the fifth generation of the family Sanz got free of the familiar path and initiated an own project with the construction of a new Winery in the locality of Rueda, beginning this way the most recent history of Palacio de Bornos. After more than thirty years of solid work, Palacio de Bornos has managed to be one of the most recognized brands of the D.O. Rueda, with presence on the principal markets of five continents.
