Wine-cellars Cardoner there was founded in 1982 by D. Jose Pons Cardoner, who created, the COMPAÑÍA INTERNACIONAL DE VINOS Y CAVAS S.A. (CIVICA S.A.), destined to elaborate a champaign without paragon on the market, that for his quality, smoothness, void acidity, and bouquet.
Obtained of the coupage of the autochthonous grapes, Macabeo, Xarello and Parellada, the CAVA CARDONER, acquired very soon the reputation of being an excellent, soft champaign to the palate, of pale yellow tone and with a soft bubble that does not bother in the throat. In 1998, D. Jose Pons Cardoner, there decided to sell the wine-cellar to the family Hill, owner of a financial group.
The surname Hill is very an acquaintance in the Penedès. The tradition of the family perpetúa now in the new generation, who approaches this new stage with the fondness, the dedication and the enthusiasm with that Mr Jose Pons Cardoner approached the first stage.
In Sant Sadurní's heart D'Anoia, the world capital of the CAVA, the CAVAS CARDONER, they possess the estate property of the company, in which his CAVAS and WINES are elaborated.
