Founded in 1987

In the Alt Penedès, zone of great wine tradition, there is born the champaign Chandon. The frothy very winning one and of exquisite quality, fruit of an elegant process of production carried out in Chandon's modern Wineries, under a spectacular lake of 4.000 m2.

The company Chandon was founded in 1987, with the aim to elaborate a range of wine-cellar of the highest quality, supported by the "Savoir Faire" of Moët and Chandon, but respecting the own characteristics of the champaign. Moët and Chandon possesses Wineries in the most important wine zones of the world: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, California ... and Spain. Here, in the zone of the Alt Penedès, Chandon it possesses 122 hectares of own vineyards, where there are cultivated the varieties of Macabeo, Xarel.lo, Parellada, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Chandon elaborates his wine-cellars in one of the most modern Wineries of the Penedès (winning work of Oscar Tusquets), possessing always the caress and care of expert enologists. The ripeness takes place in a few innovative Wineries covered by an artificial lake, which acts like insulating thermal and supports a constant temperature of 12 º C. all the year round.

This way, they are obtained frothy rewarded native and internationally like: Chandon Gran Reserves Brut Vintage 1997 (of color brilliant gold, with aromas of very mature fruit); Chandon Brut Rosé (of color raspberry pale, fruity aroma and of varietal 100 % Pinot Noir); Chandon Brut Nature (of yellow golden color, with a very dry palate simultaneously that fresh air and structured good) and, Chandon Brut Reserves (of yellow golden color that offers a magnificent balance, with a fresh palate and a long post-taste).
