Founded in 1952

Of great wine tradition, Cellers Grimau Gol, S.A. devotes himself to the culture of vineyards and to the production of wines and wine-cellars that are commercialized under the brands Duart de Siò and Heretat Can Milà de la Roca.

It was Josep Gol Grimau, in the year 1952 who initiated the commercialization of wines, being established in Vilafranca's current Winery.

In 1988, the enologist Josep M ª Grimau Gol together with his wife Eve Martí, takes charge of the direction of the company. After endowing the facilities of the most new technologies in production and bottleneck of wines and wine-cellars, they obtain with the brand Duart of If ò, to place among the best cavistas of the zone.

The prestige of the house is increasing and in the year 1994 Cellers Grimau Goal acquires a Farmhouse of the 16th century " Can Milà de la Roca " who, suitably restored, shows in all his brilliance his historical environment, as well as the privileged situation of his 120 Has. of vineyard and forest. The estate is in the highest point of the Penedès, enjoying a microclimate that favors the culture of the vineyards.

From the year 1997, after the death of his husband, Eve Martí Capdevila takes charge of the direction of the company and, beside continuing with great national success the promotion of the VI NOVELL (young wine of the year), has overturned all his energy and dynamism in an alone aim, to obtain the maximum as for production and select production, supporting with very good own criterion, the character and personality in the whole range of his wines and wine-cellars.
