In the Alto Empordà the winery Castillo de Capmany produces, under the D.O. Empordà-Costa Brava, the wines Moll de Alba and Castillo Olivares. They are powerful wines with great structure and very good conditions for the upbringing.
In the winery placed in a castle of the 11th century, they age the broths in casks of American and Hungarian oak.
Since varieties predominate Over Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Garnatxa.
