Bodegas y Viñedos Lleiroso S. A., included inside the D.O. Ribera de Duero and placed in Valbuena de Duero's municipal area(Valladolid), it initiates his gait in July, 2001 and arises from the relation between the main old man and enologist and a pharmaceutical entrepreneur.

This innovative Winery takes the production and upbringing wine of elite as a principal aim.

The design and building of the Winery, realized for D. Elesio Gatón Gómez, architect of recognized prestige, is completely new. When the architect received the order of the project of the Winery, he remembered in a beginning, since the wine was elaborated traditionally: slow, raised in absence of light, In a place where the environment remains fresh and moderated in winter, without big variations of temperature and with such a tranquility that heard traversing the air. He thought then about an underground Winery, but soon serious difficulties arose: the level of the water was much more near the exterior of what one believed.

It decided then to construct a building for the upbringing wine that had the ideal conditions of a buried Winery, but with air character: the walls were covered with land, which he exercises like insulating; in the same way the top zone covered with a swimming pool and in order that the water of the same one was not warming up, they protected themselves with a few parasols that, in addition, rise in order that there is an air direct current. One had managed in an absolutely natural way to isolate and to reproduce the best conditions for the upbringing of the wine.
