Selected Wineries ARMANDO, S.L. is a familiar Winery, established nowadays in the right margen of the Rio Douro, in his intersection with the former Roman route of the " Route of the Silver ", principal axis of communications between North and South of the western half of the Iberian Peninsula from the epoch of the Roman domination.

The headquarters of the company were until the year 1965 in Fermoselle, natal locality of our forbears for paternal route and initiators of our familiar gait in the world of the wine, and in Fermoselle, where there join the rivers Douro and Tormes before his entry in Portugal, in the nature reserve of them Arribes del Duero, we preserve some small centenary vineyards in spectacular natural terraces on the river Douro.

In the year 1965 the headquarters moved to cardinal Zamora, in search of better communications and major proximity with our principal markets. From this moment we start working the wines of the zone of Toro, where in 1987 our enologist - manager was a charter member of the C.R.D.O. Toro. Of this epoch also we possess former vineyards in the zone of Toro, with which in his day the wines elaborated Catedral de Zamora and Señorío de Toro.
