With the experience accumulated from 1.964 in the production and upbringing of big wines, Santiago Ijalba García leaves in 1.998 the headquarter and technology of Haro's historical Winery to start his own personal project. It creates Wineries SANTALBA in Gimileo's small locality, together with Ollauri and you upset to four Haro's kilometres, the " capital of the wine of Rioja " and his natal city.
Today the Winery, supporting a familiar character, possesses Roberto Ijalba Perez's support, which worries enológicas and particular inclination towards the ultramodern trends is revealed in the character of some of the elaborated wines.
