Bodegas Picos de Cabariezo
Founded in 2006
In 2000, five friends lebaniego linked to land and defenders of their culture and tradition, with his own hands planted the first vineyard in an attempt to recover the ancient winemaking tradition of this land. Advised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Government of Cantabria, which were selected as experimental farm, launched this project using modern methods and the latest technology in viticulture and winemaking.
After years of work, and thanks to the potential of this land and its unique microclimate, which makes it particularly interesting and suitable for a wealth of indigenous and foreign varieties, could achieve its goal: the production and processing of high quality wine lands Liébana. The result of much effort and enthusiasm is born the new name "Wines of Liébana" wines subject to strict controls designed to guarantee its authenticity and quality.
In his cellar, offering different red wines and sweet, white wine and an original inspired by the famous German ice wines, under the trademark Picos de Cabariezo.
