OSTATU is the result of assemble that there does the family Sáenz de Samaniego of his experience, and multitude of external and internal factors to achieve a few wines with style, fruit of the influence of the microclimate that it wraps to this beautiful familiar Winery of lordly aspect surrounded with vineyards and located in the locality alavesa of Samaniego, and of the characteristics of the soils in which they agree his vineyards.
In the main they are soils clayey calcareous of color ocher that they give the fundamental nutrient for the development of the varieties of grape that the family uses in the production of his wines, a phase in which they produce worship to the basic beginning of a production that chases and obtains a few wines with that one his style. In this task and in day after day they put into practice his own philosophy, it forms a of understanding the wine and the life centred on the search of the excellence across the balance between the yesterday and the today, without being dependent on modes.
