Founded in 1953

The history of this winery dates back to 1953, when Maria Marcos and his son Joseph, ancestors of Isaac, Charles, and David Mark Anton-current owners acquired the vineyards Obanca, Limes and Barzaniellas Castro. Since then, the wine is considered a tradition in the family, and a legacy that has passed generaciones.La new business innovation is based on the passage of the "traditional" to "professional". The company was born of a family experience of years in the world of wine, where the wine was seen as something traditional and cultural (talk about high altitude vineyards in steep areas, the area being cataloged in the CERVIM, where work is sometimes very hard). This business experience trying to "professionalize" this "tradition" to make a living.

Committed to innovation and commercialization, is part of the basis of a product made according to the traditional rules but without losing quality.In 2002 starts the production of wine in the IGP Vino de la Tierra de Cangas, and since then the product has been committed to quality, as it was recognized in 2009 through the International Award Silver Tendril which recognized the quality of the wines Obanca 2008.
