Founded in 1994
It was in 1994 when Santiago Lopez managed to carry out the dream of creating his own Winery. Everything began very much before, about the 30s, when his father, also so called Santiago, landed in the Ribera del Duero proceeding from Santander to create a farm in the same place where today the Winery has been located.
The contact with the world of the viticulture came in the 80s, coinciding with the beginning of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. After a few years selling the grapes to other butlers, the moment came longed of elaborating his own wine, creating Wineries Lopez Christopher.
Later there came the incorporation of his son Galo, who supposed a determinant help in the definitive consolidation of the Winery, as well as the contribution of a very personal character to the wines.
