Strategically located along the Ebro river in front of the iconic Iron Bridge - which in the nineteenth century Praxedes Mateo Sagasta, the former chairman of Rioja government, was responsible for raising - is this winery founded in 1890. It dates back to the time of the alliance between Rioja and Bordeaux French, struggling to eradicate phylloxera invaded Europe in the nineteenth century.
