Bodegas Díez Mérito
Founded in 1876
The history of Bodega Díez Mérito is born two hundred years ago and passes parallel to the own history of the wines and brandies natives of Jerez de la Frontera. Wines and brandies spoilt between walls and colossal ceilings, aging silently, only interrupted this one, for the labors of big sacks and dews of the arrumbadores.
This wine house preserves one of the most emblematic hulls of Sherry, Bodega Bertemati, majestic building of 1790 that owes his name to one of his first owners the Marquess of Misa. His magnificent location in the center of Sherry, his domed structure and his splendid arches constitute an incomparable frame for the aging of his exquisite wines and brandies.
