Founded in 2004
In Burgo Viejo we cultivate more than 200 hectares of own vineyard, placed in the Alfaro's best places, poor and sunny lands, cultivated fondly by 6 vine-growers' families with traditions and centenary knowledge.
Our feeling of tradition forces us to cultivate only autochthonous varieties of La Rioja, as the Tempranillo, the Robe, the Mazuelo, the Graciano and the Viura.
At the end of September the vintage, culminating moment comes in to pass of the Winery, where there are combined the most modern technologies of follow-up of the ripeness by the most traditional methods of vintage.
