The history of wineries Castro Martin goes back 1887, where we find old documents that prove the existence of a winery and of the sale of wine Albariño.
The current facilities of the winery were constructed in 1982 by Domingo Martin Morales, approximately five years before the D.O. Laugh Baixas was created.
The winery was the first one in the region in was entirely equipped with tanks of stainless steel for the production and storage of the wine, which for that epoch was looking like rather an unnecessary extravagancy between his neighbors, but not this way according to the modern technologies of production of wines.
