Bodegas Carlos Serres

Founded in 1896

In 1896 it was established in Haro a French so called Charles Serres in order to elaborate wines using the experience that already had of France and that he was acquiring in La Rioja, mixture that made to him create an own style that lasts at present in the new facilities that substituted the Winery of the Neighborhood of the Station in order to support his form of traditional production adapted to the new technologies.

Wineries Carlos Serres, S.A. possesses 50 hectares of vineyard placed in a zone with excellent location to produce grapes of high quality, which give place to unsurpassable wines elaborated always of a traditional way, being the tempranillo the variety more employee.

The Winery carries out the process of upbringing in casks of French and American oak, commercializing three brands: Serres, Carlos Serres and Personal name, which are detailed later:

- Serres is the young fresh, stained, pink and white wines, which are elaborated with tempranillo, robe and viura respectively.
- Carlos Serres they are the wines of upbringing, structured and elegant, that are elaborated with tempranillo and with a small percentage of robe and graciano for it reserves and great reservation.
- Personal name they are the wines of the best add which have received diverse medals
