Founded in 1860

Wineries Cano it is a family enterprise that one has dedicated along several generations to the production and upbringing wine. In 1860, Blas Cano García founded the first winery in Higueruela (Albacete). Later it was inherited by his children, Philip, Sinforiano and Blas. The winery was happening from generation to generation until the 60s when Higueruela's Cooperative was inaugurated. Blas and Adolfo (children of Sinforiano), decide to stop elaborating the wine of proceeding from his vineyards to form a part of the Cooperative as founding partners.

Forty years later, on August 1, 2003, both brothers, Blas and Adolfo, together with the son of the latter, Adolfo, decide to return to undertake the familiar winery, " WINERIES CANO", with a few new facilities in the estate " Hoya Mañas". The WINERY, it is located in Higueruela (Albacete), possesses 120 hectares of vineyard in espalier and glass, some of them with more than 40 years of antiquity. The vineyards, which they find to approximately 1.000 meters of altitude, are cultivated in lands of dryness. The zone enjoys a few climatic suitable characteristics to obtain excellent crops.
