La Fonte Dei winery takes its name from the Roman name of the place name where the headquarters of the winery in the town now Deifontes, very close to the vega of Granada, in this limit the Eastern region of Montes . With only three years of history, this young winery has positioned itself at the forefront of quality Spanish wines. In fact, only this time, has achieved international recognition for his important Crianza 2006, which is achieved the Bronze Medal in the International Challenge of Bordeaux, a competition he faced over 5,400 wines from 36 countries.

La Fonte Dei winery gets its raw material into four zones. All four are located within the larger producing area called "Wines Granada Southwestern": First, within the municipality of Deifontes, lies at 1,000 meters above sea level, and it is grown Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. The second, on the heights of Alhama, in the Sierra de Tejeda, between Granada and the West Coast, is located in a place called the Gineza Llanos, and hosts a plantation of 1,100 meters where you get Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. It should be half the grape wine processed each year. A third area is productive in the Valley of Lecrín, south of the capital, especially in a climate where there is Tempranillo in the towns of Restábal and The Padul. Finally, in the very plain of Granada, 700 meters above the sea, and payments Conchoso The Morama, grown Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and the already mentioned Albariño.
