A made dream reality, BARON DE LEY is a Winery concebida and founded in 1985 by a limited group of professionals of recognized prestige in Rioja, which they decide to create a project in those days only in the D.O. Qualified Rioja; a Winery inspired image and similarity of Médoc's "châteaux", assembling all the conditions that do of a wine a work of art.
With this end, the creators of BARON DE LEY acquired Imas's estate, located in Mendavia's municipal area and on the left margen of the river Ebro; a place favoured for the culture of the vineyard by his climatic conditions and the characteristics of the soils, on which 90 hectares were planted.
