Jose Antonio Martínez Fernandez, belongs to a family dedicated for 5 generations to the wine world. He founded in 1989 Wineries Altún in Baños de Ebro, in order to commercialize his own wine. In two years it achieved his intention, and nowadays, Wineries Altún it is one of the most prestigious Wineries of Rioja Alavesa thanks to the quality of his wines.
Albiker (in honor to his two children Alberto and Iker) is the new brand of the Winery with which there commercializes his stained wine young person selected of carbonic maceration. His more special wines are known on the market under Altún's name, and are raised and aged in the new facilities endowed with the last technologies.

Secreto de Altún
RIOJA qualified Designation of Origin
Vino de autor proveniente de uvas de viñedos propios que rondan los 60 años. Se elaboran aproximadamente unos 10.000 kg siempre que la añada lo permita, obteniendo así 8.000 litros de un caldo potente y estructurado, realiza su fermentación maloláctica en barricas de roble 100% francés. Tras este proceso, el vino se trasiega y vuelve a barrica para su reposo durante 18 meses en los cuales lograremos el equilibrio fruta - madera y la polimerización de sus taninos.
