In 2007 it is born in Laguardia, Wineries Águila Rea Basilio Izquierdo's wine project. The Winery represents the crystallization of a life dedicated to the production of qualit wines. He gathers the whole wisdom, the knowledge and the familiarity in the treatment with the grapes of this enologist of of La Mancha origin that one day came to Rioja and there it took root, arranged to being a part of the landscape of his wine.
Basilio is a brilliant assets of his present and an incipient promise for his future represented in his new wines.
Because his Winery is the synthesis and the consecration of his own life dedicated to the vineyard and to his fruits, his wines illuminate in his label the initial of his name, the B of Basilio, and the own Winery, which was A Golden eagle in a beginning has modified his trade name to take up office in his essence, as unequivocal feature of genuineness, the appellative one that better reflects his sense: Wineries Basilio Izquierdo.
