Bodegas Vertijana was founded in 2004, although the planting of vineyards dating back to 2000. Its two owners are Amparo Garcia Martos Izquierdo and Torcuato Contreras

Although a very young winery, winemaking tradition is much older, as their parents, grandparents and ancestors worked and the wine sector.
