In 1.989, almost at par that the D.O Rias Baixas is born, Jose A. Wheat Sineiro founds the winery Montesacro, whose name comes from the same Pazo in the zone of Sao Tome in Cambados. Sao Tome is a seaworthy and soft neighborhood filled with seaworthy houses and with San Saturnino's tower to the bottom.
There the country house was founded by the Marquess of Monte Sacro, of origin Riojan and very been interested in the culture of the wine. Them first vine-stocks of wine albariño, Catalan, espadeiro and other autochthonous varieties reached the estates of this Pazo.
