Bodega Malpaís De Maguez (La Grieta)
Founded in 2006
After many years of agricultural tradition and especially the vineyard is in 2007 when presented our wine "La Grieta" prepared in the new premises of the winery, a project born with great enthusiasm and effort to excel. It has 15 hectares of vineyard in the north of the island, where most exceed 500 meters.
The harvest begins about the end of July and ends in October. Is done by hand in small boxes of 20 kilos in order that the grapes arrive in the best position to hold. Subsequently subjected to a manual selection at the winery. The development, with the utmost care and attention, giving rise to our Malvasia, characterized by fine and elegant aromas and a palate balanced and fresh. Without discounting the red wine with excellent qualities of the northern area.
The winery is Malpaís de Máguez at sea level and less than five hundred feet offshore. Our wines are fermented, decanted and rely on deposits to the sound of the waves of the Atlantic. Finally are bottled and distributed in the market.
