Founded in 2006
Bodegas La Soterraña is born of an ambitious project of several friends, unconditional lovers of the wine and linked to the sector for years (enologists, vine-growers …).
His passion for the wine - and the variety verdejo especially - stimulates them to the accomplishment of a caprice, verdejo taken refuge in the D.O. Rueda elaborates a white wine with the only intention of the quality and distinction of the same one. For it, Winery the Soterraña yergue in the year 2006 in Olmedo's locality, traditional land of kings and gentlemen in Spain and wine zone of excellent quality inside the D.O.
The first crop of the wines of Bodega La Soterraña is that of 2006, being inaugurated by a great national success by the quality and flavor of his wine Eresma, whose name does honor to the river that crosses Olmedo's locality.
Nowadays, Bodega La Soterraña and his wines have already a great record of recognitions, excellent critical, very good punctuations in guides and specialized magazines and diverse prizes and awards to the quality, national and international, placing this way at the head of the wines of high range of the D.O. Rueda.
