Bodega Itsasmendi
Small winery located in full heart (Gernika) of the Reservation of the Biosphere of the Urdaibai. The winery is provided with the most modern technology for Txakoli's production, directed to promoting the original characteristics obtained in the vineyard and with which the Enóloga Ana Martin could manage obtain the maximum expression of the autochthonous varieties Hondarrabi zuri and Hondarrabi zuri zerratie.
The winery Itsasmendi is born in the year 1994 by means of the group of several vine-growers whose initial aim was the production of a txakoli with quality inside the context of the white wines in general and transmitting to the maximum the personal character of our zone of production. Recovering socioeconomic so important activity in Biscay as the viticulture centuries behind. With three initial hectares in Muskiz, Bakio and Mendata one believes a winery with capacity for 25.000 ltrs in Muskiz.
