Founded in 2001

In the year 2001, Carlos J. Arranz and Daniel F. - Argote we take the decision to this project associate and create ourselves, today already done reality. With it we take again the familiar tradition linked to the terruño and to the culture of grapevine that already they had carried out in the past the great-grandfather of Carlos together with the grandfather of Daniel, in that together already they were elaborating wine for his volume sale in the same place.

Carlos I contribute part of the old vineyards and the knowledge enológicos acquired in his qualifications. Another part of old vineyards and the old woman familiar Bodega they were contributed by Daniel. All this, mas the passion for the culture of the wine that was joining us, added to the effort of many hours of personal, familiar and economic sacrifices, we manage to create Wineries AND VINEYARDS ARRANZ - ARGOTE.

Selecting the best grapes of our vineyards we obtain a raw material of high quality, applying modern practices enológicas, taking advantage of the only climatic conditions that the fret contributes, experienced both with new casks of French oak and with diverse toastings of the same ones, we proposed to create the only wine of high range for add, with a production so limited like scanty, with an own personality, which should stand out inside those of wines of La Rioja.

This way there was born the wine that is commercialized under the brand TO ARAR. Being the origin of the name of the brand the contraction of both surnames of the partners Arranz and Argote.

To be the smallest and unknown Winery of La Rioja, it is an element mas of our captivation, since this way they it testify the few ones that have the privilege of our wine discovering and looking at ourselves.
