De 'gayfriendly' Vins
Uruguay aura désormais sa première marque de vin "convivial" pour la communauté gay, «Ithaque». Selon l'homme d'affaires Martin Guerre Vergara, promoteur de cette idée, ce vin n'est pas seulement pour les gays, mais aussi respectueuse de la communauté gaie et les industries et autres bohèmes ouverture d'esprit de la société uruguayenne.
The winemaker Carlos Pizzorno, responsible for the development, said that the line of wines "friendly" includes four types of wine frizzante rosé wine, a Cabernet Sauvignon oak, natural sparkling Rosé wine and a dessert wine such as "Ice Wine ".
The name of the wine "Ithaca" is due to the Greek island of Ithaca, a tourist destination for visitors to the Ionian Islands. The label bottles that look is taken from a painting by artist Gabriela Rieiro, wife of Guerra, based on a mixture of Greek culture and wines.
Following approval of the Law on Equal Marriage in Uruguay, in the coming months "we already have at least two orders to supply wine wedding parties," said Guerra.
The wines "Ithaca" will not go on sale in mass but consume "at exclusive" as "some restaurants and hotels," he said.
