Deux médailles d'or en Manzanares pour D.O. Valdepeñas vins

Le D.O.Valdepeñas célèbre la médaille d'or remportée par Don Aurelio Tempranillo Crianza et Reserva Selección Raíces vins de la qualité du concours 43e Vins de Feria del Campo de Manzanares (FERCAM), qui a fêté cette année sa cinquante-troisième anniversaire. Deux références importantes qui contribuent à la reconnaissance de la troisième Institut du vin espagnol.

D.O.Valdepeñas is the third Institution Spanish Wine, both old as market recognition. Its main mission is to protect the quality of its wines and would enhance the promotion and image of the institution both domestically and internationally. Today the vineyards of this D.O. extend over an area of 22,000 hectares. Wineries belonging to D.O.Valdepeñas produce more than 70 million bottles of wine with D.O.P.

With a total of 65 wines made by 25 wineries in Castilla-La Mancha, the Contest of Manzanares exalted two red wines of the D.O. Valdepeñas:

Don Aurelio Crianza,of Bodegas Navarro Lopez, won in its category with 100% Tempranillo aged in oak for six months, that conquers by its cherry red color of violet hues, strawberry, cherry and currant and vanilla aromas, cooled by mild spices and balsamic, and long palate, balanced and persistent. From versatile nature, combined extraordinarily with pates, meats, stews and cheeses.

Crowned in the reserves category wine of Bodegas Fernando Castro, Raíces Reserva Selección, a monovarietal tempranillo, aged twelve months American oak and many others in bottle. With extensive structure in the mouth, has great body and good balance between oak aging and reminiscences fruit. This wine has a fine aroma and taste, perfect with salads, smoked and grilled.

FERCAM, considered one of the best fairs in your industry nationally, has committed more than ever this year for the primary sector of Castilla La Mancha, which the wine industry has a prominent place.
