In America success was overwhelming: some states like Utah banned the sale of this wine and that helped create a free publicity that spread like wildfire: in other states most traditional wine consumption (and less restrictive) and California New York or 400,000 bottles were sold in the year of release.

Also in France, where the glamor, comes the controversial "Le Vin de Merde" (Shit Wine), with a fly included on the label, which sold within a few months the entire crop of 2007, is a creation of Jean-Marc Speziale, who owns a restaurant in Aniane, near Montpellier, and you could say that creation is a kind of response to media criticism of Languedoc-Roussillon to the wines of the region.

Following this success came other brands such as the Australian Grenache "Bitch" in the back label repeats the word in its back label 77 times and ends with "some more". And besides, you can choose between Sexy Bitch, Sweet Bitch or Sassy Bitch.

The Italian family wine "Follador"(Fucker), founded by Giovanni Follador in 1769 and settled in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG,-you pretty much have your name when traveling-speaking countries lend to another reading, but by the consumer.
